I think people need a clarification as for what terrorism is as people seem to think they can change the definition.

Resistance in Palestine is when angry kids throw stones, a Palestinian shouts in a soldiers face, they fly their flag proudly and they protest. Resistance only becomes terrorism when you carry out a suicide bombing and kill innocent people. And what have these terrorists attacks done for the Palestinian people other than bring about the West Bank barrier or get them generalized as terrorists? There are no excuses for that kind of behavior, do you see every other Palestinian doing that? No.They are strong, they live day by day with faith that one day they will have what they want.

Its the same for people who mix up resistance and terrorism in Ireland, more notably back when the situation was very bad. The Irish resisted in many ways and I supported that. My family history comes from the “rebel county” where my ancestors fought the British, my grandfather would sing rebel songs which would mention the IRA. But the IRA to me are terrorists. They could have protested in many other ways but they chose to kill innocent people, including many children. Did it ever get North Ireland back?

I have full support for resistance, but terrorism is unacceptable and there is no excuses.
